6th Generation Oklahoma Family Business
In the late 1800's the Hudson family settled in Indian Territory that would one day become the little town of Roff, Oklahoma. It wasn't long before they became known for their bustling dry-goods store, where Great-Granny Pearl Hudson sold her famously irresistible peanut brittle to locals from miles around.
As the years went by, the next generation-Joel & Louis Hudson-transformed that dry-goods store into a local cafe (The Roff Cafe). And even with the new menu and new era, Great-Granny Pearl's peanut brittle remained the towns favorite treat, cherished both as a dessert and holiday candy!
Over time, the Hudson's built a reputation as beloved restaurateurs and talented candy makers. The family continued making their famous brittle, eventually producing it only during the holidays and for church gatherings/events-where it became lovingly known as "Pentecostal brittle!"

Then, in 2021, a new generation of Hudsons revived the tradition, turning the family legacy into a year-round candy company. In 2023, Hudson's Kitchen officially became Okie Brittle.
Today, Okie Brittle is still one of the most sought-after peanut brittles in the country-made with the very same recipe Great-Granny Pearl Hudson created all those years ago. To date, Great-Granny Hudson's Peanut Brittle remains the #1 Award-Winning Brittle in the country!
*Okie Mountain Brittle and The Original Brittle Company are both subsidiaries of Okie Brittle.
A legacy of love, and Oklahoma roots, made the world's best peanut brittle!
